Filter Press
Different from vacuum filters or centrifugal filters, the filter press is known as an economical but powerful solid-liquid separation equipment. It is a positive pressure filter which pressure can be up to 2.5Mpa, that is why it still has extremely strong separation ability when deal with slurry with fine particle, high organic content and high viscosity properties. And for the same reason, filter press has a wide applications range and is proved to have good performance in various fields such as chemical production, mineral processing, metallurgy, pharmaceutical and wastewater treatment.
Hydraulic filter press are all simple designed filter press with reduced dimensions, the action of plate pack open and close is designed to be driven by hydraulic system. And the filter actions, plate pack open as well as the process valves are controlled by manual operation.
Automatic filter press are filter press that designed for a wide range application, allowing customization to suit particular processes and clients’ requirements. All action of the filter as well as the process flow can be controlled by PLC program, and carried out by the corresponding automation mechanical design.
Quick operation filter press are filter press that upgraded on basis of normal automatic filter. It allows the plates to be open group by group which considerably reduce the cake discharge time and increase the production per unit area of the filter. Such kind of filters are special developed for large throughput, high filtration ability products such as mining concentrates and tailings.
