Filter press cakes can be discharged directly onto ground waiting for transfer, or to be transported elsewhere through a conveyor. Belt conveyors are suitable for transporting cakes with high specific gravity or relative dryness, while screw conveyors are suitable for the one with high viscosity or humidity. When the cake is tough and not easy to break naturally, it is necessary to coarse crush it to make the size convenient for long-distance transportation or more suitable for feeding into the backend equipment such as granulator or dryer.
Belt conveyor is designed for big loading capacity, can be used for non corrosive filter cake with high specific gravity and relative dryness.
When the filter press cake has high moisture and viscosity, it may slip on rubber belt and reduce the conveying efficiency, while using a screw conveyor can effectively solve this problem which can rely on its spiral structure to forcibly push the filter cake and achieve the conveying purpose.
Double shaft filter cake crusher has a small footprint, high strength, and strong wear resistance. It can quickly cut the filter press cake into 40~50mm to make it convenient for long-distance transportation or suitable for backend equipment such as granulator or dryer.
