The 16 customized filter presses for an Uzbekistan hydrometallurgical plant have been assembled and passed the customer's factory acceptance inspection. Affected by COVID-19, the plant's technical negotiations with XUDA ENVIRO-TECH were on-and-off and lasted for two years. During this period, they also conducted a trial cooperation with an Italian filter press brand, but ultimately chose XUDA ENVIRO-TECH.
These 16 filter presses will be used in three different workshops: the Cadmium Workshop, Rolling Workshop, and Leaching Workshop. XUDA provided the complete filtration system for this project, including the filter presses, feeding pumps, squeezing pumps, cloth washing pumps, cake washing pumps, belt conveyors, and other equipment. Due to the harsh working environment of the smelter, XUDA ENVIRO-TECH applied special anti-corrosion treatment to these filter presses. Additionally, materials resistant to high temperatures and oxidation were incorporated during the production of the filter plates, and automatic cloth washing devices were configured.
Project Manager Aaron Zhao stated: "We identified all the issues the customer encountered when using other brands of filter presses and implemented targeted solutions. While these filter presses may not be the most advanced model XUDA ENVIRO-TECH currently produces, we have meticulously considered every detail concerning equipment stability and reduced maintenance costs for the customer."
